I use SongSpace all the time. Instead of using a voice memo I can record my melodic ideas in the app as an idea. I can keep it private or send it off to someone to collab with. I can also type in lyrics and save them as well. I like the app because finally, I can keep all my melodic and lyric ideas in one place. As we start the collaboration I can share the session with my co-writers and we can modify and add in real time. We can then attach a demo of the song to the session to continue work. When complete we can add a final demo and because it has all of our PRO and Publisher details we can send it off to an artist, music sup or our publishers and all the data is there. We can keep notes and track the progress as well. I still keep a “hook book” of lines, ideas, complete stories etc in Google Keep because it syncs across all devices. Evernote is another good alternative for that too.
