RSR369 – Bob Bullock – Saving Fleetwood Mac Rumours & Ruminating About Mixing Fleetly on a Mac

Keep those hi-hats locked young man! Bob talked about saving the master tapes for Fleetwood Mac Rumours as a young engineer, why accurate monitoring is so crucial for mixing, why you need more than one DAW, and how less is more on your mix bus.

My guest today is Bob Bullock a recording engineer, mixer, and producer whose credits can be found on over 50 gold and platinum albums. He loves to work with independent artists from around the world and does extensive teaching through multiple universities including Belmont University & The Art Institute in Nashville, TN, and Troy University in Montgomery, AL. Bob has been a guest on the podcast way back on episode RSR055 where he shared his story of starting out and working his way to Nashville.

Today we will catch up with Bob joining us from his home studio in Nashville to talk about his beautiful Phantom Focus Mixroom and how he mixes in the box with Pro Tools.

Thanks so much to Carl Tatz for reconnecting us for this interview!
